This is not a particularly attractive building from the outside, being constructed more to withstand the harsh Norwegian mountain winters than to please the eye. It is modern with plain white walls.

The lobby is large with plenty of comfortable seating, though the veritable zoo of stuffed animals might not be to everyone's taste!

The rooms vary considerably in style and size. The smallest rooms are still medium sized however, whilst some of them are very large. Some of the oldest rooms are only in fair condition with rather outdated decor, but most are modern and in good condition. The bathrooms likewise vary between simple and functional and smart and modern. All the rooms are, however, clean and comfortable.

The restaurant is huge and can cater for enormous groups or parties. It is decorated in grand style and there is an extensive buffet served nightly.
