The Scandic is a modern low-rise property.

The lobby of the hotel is of a medium size and split between two levels with a nice seating and bar area on the upper level. The lower level is dominated by a huge stuffed polar bear.

The hotel is located on the lovely western side of Tromso Island, with a magnificent view of the Kvaloya Mountains. Our spacious and comfortable rooms are fully equipped and are fully carpeted, all with single bathrooms. We also offer some connecting rooms.Children under 13 may stay in a parents room at no extra charge. Every child receives a surprise at check-in, our restaurants offer a great kids menu, and all children can enjoy our playroom.The Pelikan Lobby Bar lies at the heart of our hotel. Enjoy light refreshments or a cup of coffee while you watch the pulse of hotel life around you. Experience a taste of the North in the Maken restaurant. The Maken restaurant serves delicious dishes from our la carte choices. It has 160 seats.Scandic has hosted many conventions over the years and has developed an unrivalled expertise in this area.
