This is a good privately owned and welcoming Hotel on the outskirts of Kendal, with modern levels of comfort, ample free car parking and leisure facilities including Pool and spa bath. The hotel is steeped in history having originally been built as an orphanage for young girls in the 1850's. It is traditional in design and made from locally quarried stone.
