The hotel forms an excellent base from which to explore Bodo and the area around the town. It is only a short distance from such famous landmarks as Saltstraumen, Kjerringoy and the Svartisen glacier. There are also a number of activities guests can enjoy in and around Bodo, such as fishing, boat trips, mountain hiking, cycling or diving in Saltstraumen. The hotel is associated with an Egon Restaurant, which can offer a varied menu with light meals, pizza, hamburgers, steak dishes, salmon and other fish dishes.
