The building itself dates from the 1920's and the exterior reflects the architectural style of that era.
The lobby is medium sized and pleasantly decorated with distinct blue carpet. The lobby area leads to a cosy bar and lounge area with leather seating where smoking is permitted as it is not permitted in any of the other public areas.
This captivating hotel is in a peaceful side street off the van Baerlestraat shopping street. From the hotel visitors can comfortably discover Amsterdam's city centre with its copious shops and other entertainment options as well as the scores of tourist attractions on foot.
The hotel has 4 floors and a total of 52 rooms, including 15 singles and 36 doubles. Various facilities are available to guests including a cosy foyer with lifts, safes and a 24-hour reception. In addition, the hotel prides itself on its magnificent restaurant with separate non-smoking area. Additional services include a room and laundry service as well as medical assistance.
Hotel Trianon is located in a quiet side street just off the Van Baerlestraat, in the best shopping area of Amsterdam.The Concert Hall is just next door to the Trianon and the Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt), the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum are also very close by. The historical city centre with the canals and the Leidseplein with the Casino are within walking distance. Some rooms have shower only. Renovating of the ground floor will start on September 5th and last until the beginning of November. Renovation work will take place from Monday till Friday between nine and five. The hotel will serve breakfast during the entire duration of the renovation at their sister hotel, the 4* Museum Square Hotel located around the corner at a 2 minute walk.
