The region is fairly mountainous away from the coast, and there are a number of mountain trails and walks to follow and with the large concentration of beaches in the west, it is possible to beach hop up and down the coastline. Wand Sai waterfall is within easy reach and Laem Son is a popular freshwater lake, shaded by tall pine trees with giant rope swings!Recreation:The Twin Bay Resort Restaurant is well known to be one of the best on Deer next Beach, serving exquisite Thai and Western cuisine at affordable prices. The extensive menu covers everything from swordfish steak, and the restaurant also specializes in a variety of traditional Thai dishes, rarely seen on other menus. A tantalizing daily selection of fresh seafood is available and regular beach barbeques provide a great way to mix with other guests. Rooms:All of the rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning and hot water. All have sea views and with their years of experience in the hospitality trade, Twinbay Resort has designed the bungalows with the guests best interests considered fitting mosquito screening on their doors and windows, providing spacious rooms and balconies, and finishing the bathrooms to hotel standards. Most of the rooms are right on the beach, and those that aren't still command excellent views.
