The small village complex is situated in a wooded valley in the hills of Monchique. A celebrated spa since Roman times, for hot thermal springs rising from deep inside the earth can be found here. Guest will find a small chapel, a wine bar, restaurants, convenience and handicraft shop.

The village comprises 103 rooms spread over 5 small hotels, a wine bar, 2 restaurants, a convenience store and a Spa with hot springs thermal waters.

Children under 12 years old are not allowed to use the thermal spa. Kids club open. Baby-sitting services on request.
