This a truly beautifully restored Elizabethan Manor House and more importantly is only a short drive away from London Stansted airport. The Whitehall restaurant is on the ground floor overlooking the patio and walled garden - when weather permits it is possible to dine al fresco in the beautiful garden. The excellent dishes (all freshly prepared) are served in the magnificent surroundings of the 15th Century dining hall and the 3 Course Sunday Lunch is also very popular. There are also many small and cosy Lounges where you can have afternoon tea and snacks throughout the day.
