Nestled in Okuhida, Aihokan boasts a public hot spring bath with free flowing spring water drawn directly from the hot spring source. The ryokan features Japanese-style rooms with free WiFi access. Japanese-style breakfast and dinner are available if reserved in advance. Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal is only a 3-minute stroll away, while Hida-Takayama is 50-minutes via car. Shinhotaka Ropeway is a 30-minute drive and Shirakawa Village is a 120-minute drive. Kamikochi Valley and Mount Norikura are respectively 30 and 60-minutes away via bus.
