Alpine Farmstay Apartments is a large farmhouse, converted into 3 apartments. Hosts Beattie and Roger live in 1 apartment and the other 2 apartments are self-contained accommodation. Apartment 1 is a loft-style apartment with mountain views and is split over 2 levels. The top level features a large attic-style bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. The lower level is a combined open-plan small living area and kitchenette overlooking a deck with barbecue facilities and mountain views. Nearby, guests enjoy a private outdoor seating area situated by the fruit orchard. Apartment 2 is a modern studio apartment at garden level offering mountain views, with separate kitchen and bathroom. There are 2 bunk beds. 1 bunk has 2 single beds and the other bunk has a double bed beneath a single bed. There is a also a double sofa bed. Set on 12 acres of paddocks, the farm is home to alpacas, miniature goats, a small herd of sheep, a pet pig, chickens and wild native birds. Located in Boorolite in Victoria's High Country, Alpine Farmstay Apartments is an 8-minute drive from the centre of Merrijig, and a 15-minute drive from the base of Mt Buller and Mount Stirling. Mansfield, with its celebrated restaurants, cafes and country-style gift shops, is a 15-minute drive in the opposite direction. After a day of activities, guests can relax by the campfire and watch the sunset over the mountains. The property offers free parking and a complimentary tray of mini breakfast cereal, milk and fruit juice cartons and individually wrapped tea bags.
