All of the hotel's 30 rooms offer a high standard of comfort and some may also have sea views, offering a panoramic view over the Firth of Clyde. The bar and restaurant are open all day. From the Clyde Suite and dining room guests can enjoy the magnificient views of the Clyde and beyond. The hotel was renovated in 2007 and it offers a lobby area, lift access, conference facilities and WLAN Internet access.

The hotel is situated in the centre of town, beside the Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry terminal, which offers an hourly service and is linked by train to the main towns. Western Ferries, offering a half-hourly service (more frequent at peak times) is only 3.2 km away and has a city link bus service to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
