ASTOR HOUSE Astor House is a large Victorian house built in around 1890 from locally quarried Bath Stone.

Astor House provides bed and breakfast accommodation only a mile from the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath. Although it retains all of it's period features and character, we have redecorated all the bedrooms as well as the breakfast room and the sitting room. Our attractive rooms have been individually decorated and offer courtesy trays with an array of beverages to suit all, colour TV and many other facilities to make your stay a pleasure. There is a large walled garden which guests are welcome to use. Situated in a peaceful residential area away from the traffic yet only 1 mile from the City centre and all its eateries, shops and historic sights. Bath makes an ideal touring base for the historic sights of Bath but also for the many places of interest in Somerset and the Cotswolds. Astor House is centrally located for touring Stonehenge, Avebury, Bradford on Avon, Salisbury, Longleat and other delights just an easy drive away. Astor House also has the advantage of on-site car parking as well as unrestricted parking on the roads in front of the house. BREAKFAST ROOM The breakfast room seats up to 20 people comfortably and it was the former dinning room in the original layout of the house. The bay window fills the room with natural light and there is an original Victorian fireplace which also helps give the room the character it has. There is a wide selection of breakfast options all prepared specifically for you with a choice of Tea or Coffee.
