Located in a quiet area of Wadi Rum Protected Area, Bedouin Directions is a small, authentic camp. Entering the camp through a small canyon, the area opens up and the camp is revealed. A large social tent with a fireplace accommodates people in the evening along with a outside terrace area for stargazing. The simple camp has limited solar powered electricity - a flashlight/ torch is a must. Beds, mattresses, blankets and pillows are provided. There are shared bathrooms with two western toilets and two showers. Large Bedouin tents are divided into private rooms, all with lockable doors. A traditional Bedouin dinner is served each night; dinner must be ordered in advance. Bedouin Directions also arrange tours inside the protected area. We have Jeep tours, hiking tours, and Camel treks. We also organize shared tours when people want and there is availability. Bedouin Directions is a 60-minute drive from Aqaba and 2 hours’ drive from Petra.
