This boutique hotel, reminiscent of colonial atmosphere, is situated on the outskirts of the popular district of China Town, and offers its guests an excellent location from which to explore the city and all its charms. The nearest metro station, Tanjong Pagar MRT, is a few minutes away. Within walking distance guests will reach the business district, and after a 5 to 10 minutes-walk guests will find Chinatown Plaza, Pearl's Centre and the Tanjong Pagar Ethnic Quarters. This is a place where tradition and modernity blend in to offer visitors an incredible atmosphere.

The quaint architecture of this hotel has made the rooms different from the uniform hotel rooms expected from a typical city hotel. Each room maintains its individuality with the existence of sloping ceilings, spiral staircases, private corridors and different antique décor. Studio rooms (15-18 m²) feature rooms with a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom with shower only (no extra bed allowed). Deluxe rooms (25-30 m²) offer a king or 2 single beds and have bathrooms with either bath or shower. Garden suites have a small garden and Duplex suites are 2-storeys with a bedroom upstairs and living room downstairs as well as a queen-size sofa bed (only one bathroom). All the rooms include a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar/mini fridge, tea/coffee maker, central air conditioning and a safe.

Located on Duxton Road, in the heart of Chinatown and within walking distance of the central business district, this hotel is just 400 m from the nearest underground station, Tanjong Pagar MRT. Within 5 to 10 minutes walk guests will find Chinatown Plaza, Pearl's Centre and the Tanjong Pagar Ethnic Quarters, with rows of pubs, bars and karaoke lounges in exquisitely conserved pre-World War II buildings. Around 10-15 minutes away are the Thian Hock Keng Temple, the Sri Mariamman Temple and Chinatown Night Market along Pagoda Street, Trengganu Street and Sago Street which offer an array of traditional and modern merchandise ranging from street opera masks to handmade ornaments, traditional clothing to unique fashion accessories and a wide variety of local food stalls.
