The Andalusian poet was in Buenos Aires between 14 October 1933 and April 1934; Lola Membrives invited him to present "Bodas de Sangre" and to direct the rehearsals of "La zapatera prodogiosa" and "Mariana Pineda". When his sister visited Buenos Aires, she lodged in the room 704, the same one that Federico had occupied.
