Stop on by the historic Delta Bohemian Guest House for some food, fun and a little bit of Delta hospitality! The two-bedroom, two-story home was built in 1917 and beautifully restored in 2012 by the current owners and Clarksdale's coolest couple, "Magical" Madge and "Poor" William Howell, along with fellow Delta native, friend and interior designer, Marilyn Trainor Storey. The Howells and Storey created a one-of-a-kind lodging featuring upscale, yet earthy, bohemian style, infusing the house with color and warmth and a real sense of the old Mississippi Delta. Step inside to an open living room, a dining area and a full kitchen with a microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine and a welcome PBR for each guest in the fridge. Walk upstairs to find two bedrooms and one bathroom or relax outside in the fenced in backyard with a garden, pond and picnic area. Guests can also join Bill on one of his private area tours of the birthplace of the Blues. His tours are relational, authentic and rife with opportunity to meet local "characters," while garnering a fuller awareness and understanding of the land, its people and the Delta blues.
