The hotel is in a quiet location in the 70-hectare landscape of the Austrian national park Hohe Tauern. It is situated a the end of the Koetschachtal 1,000 m above sea level. From here guests can easily reach nearby town such as Bad Gastein, 3 km away, and Salzburg. Salzburg airport is around 95 km away.
The hotel complex comprises a total of 5 houses with 80 rooms. In addition there is also a hairdresser, a bar and a restaurant.
