These are beautifully decorated rooms with African patterns on all of the soft furnishings, a tall thatched roof and cool stone tiles on the floor. Rooms have excellent cupboard space, safe, seating and writing desk as well as a hairdryer. All rooms are en suite. Half of the rooms overlook the breathtaking Sabie river and its wallowing hippos and the other half face the beautifully maintained gardens and swimming pool. Rooms deliberatly have no TV or telephone so guests can enjoy the incredible sounds of nature by the river, although guests can make calls from reception or watch TV in the hotel bar. Rooms also have a terrace with seats.

The a la carte restaurant serves international and local food and guests can sit within the thatched boma or out on a lovely terrace overlooking the Sabie River. The food here is first class and the wine menu extensive as the restaurant manager has a good wine cellar. Meals are also organised outdoors every other day and are accompanied with cultural dancing by local tribes. The bar is very cosy and inviting and popular with guests.
