The country house "Riedl" is 700 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, in the countryside. It is a 4-room house with an aera of 100 m2 on 2 levels, it has cosy furnishings and offers a lovely panoramic view of the mountains and the countryside. There are 3 bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and 1 room with 2 beds. The living room includes a satellite-TV and radio. There is a large covered terrace with terrace furniture and box-room. The kitchen is equipped with 4 hotplates, an oven and with dining corner and wood burning stove. Wood for the stove is available free of charge. Oil heating (extra). In the house there is a washing machine and central heating. For private usage there is a 2000 m2 garden (fenced) and lawn sunning area, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, children's playground (slide, swing). For shared use there is table tennis. Grocers and restaurant are at 700 m, a Ski lift is at 7 km, the man-made Packer lake is at 10 km. Lavanttal valley has a mild climate which makes it one a charming valley in the region of south-eastern Austria, especially in the spring when the fruit trees are blooming, or in June and July when the flowers turn the mountain pastures into a beautiful red carpet. Lavanttal valley is one of Austria's most popular hiking regions. Well-maintained and family-friendly hiking paths offer relaxation amidst untouched nature. The region is also ideal for cycling. There is a total of 350 km marked family cycling trails and 540 km marked mountain biking routes. Villages in the Lavanttal valley: Reichenfels, Bad St. Leonhard, Preitenegg, Frantschach-St. Gertraud, Wolfsberg, St. Andrä, St. Paul, St. Georgen, Lavamünd. Holiday centre, 50 km north-east from Klagenfurt.
