One of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the Ancora was built in the early 19th century. It features characteristic wooden balconies, traditional furnishings and original works of art. Ancora Hotel has been awarded a domestic certificate of excellence and has 2 restaurants, reviewed in a number of prestigious food guides. A delicious mix of international dishes is served in the Gothic-style restaurant with arched ceiling, or in the tavern with hand-painted ceramics.
