Jozankei is a popular spa resort in Sapporo district. The Ryokan provides very good indoor and outdoor natural hot spring baths (shared) and is especially featuring one in outdoor called "Kagaribi-no-yu" which is huge outdoor natural hot spring bath and guests will enjoy it with view as it changes from season to season. The rooms are Japanese style only with no beds. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami mats. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. Each room at the ryokan has its own private bath and toilet.
There is a restaurant on the 3rd floor where the daily hot buffet breakfast and dinner are provided. The restaurant features wide selection of dishes from Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisine. Coffee lounge, Karaoke Bar, Japanese style Izakaya bar and Japanese style private banquet for group travelers are available also.
