Knysna Houseboats are private self-drive boats that are found at Thesen Islands, in Knysna. This fully equipped floating accommodation offers panoramic views from the spacious roof-top sun deck. Each boat is fitted with light wood furnishings and navy blue and white décor. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven and fridge. Bathroom facilities on Knysna Houseboats include a shower, basin and a chemical toilet. They also offer 24-hour access to the ablutions at their charter base in Thesen´s Harbour Town. Barbeque facilities are available in the lounge area at the back of the boat, from where you can catch your own dinner as well. An assorted catering menu including beverages, picnic baskets and barbecue packs are available. Room service on the lagoon is also on offer. On arrival, guests will receive a short skipper course by the staff and get issued with a temporary skipper’s licence for the duration of their stay.
