The place Plütscheid with about 300 inhabitants is located in the Islek biotope. The Islek is a cross border region in the triangle of Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium. The area is characterized by hill up to 570m and deep river valleys, varied vegetation and small villages and remote places and a very low population density. An extensive network of roads with little traffic, forest-, hiking- and biking trails invite you to explore and experience this region.
