U bílé kuželky, the building in which the inn is housed, was designed by the Bohemian Baroque architect Kryštof Dientzenhofer as a family dwelling. Its construction took seven years, from 1708 to 1714, and it has been designated a national cultural treasure. The tastefully appointed rooms and suites offer every modern convenience and guests may expect to draw on a wide range of services. The close proximity of the Charles bridge and the setting – the district known as Malá Strana – conspire to create the illusion of history drawing nearer. The pairing of inn and restaurant provides an unusual opportunity for sampling freshly prepared home-style Czech food.
