The bed and breakfast is situated in the Grampian foothills, often referred to as the gateway to the Highlands. It is a spectacular area resonant with Scottish cultural heritage. From the bed and breakfast guests can walk into Crieff and visit the shops, pubs and restaurants. Guests can also catch the local bus which is about 1 minutes' walk away. The Gleneagles train station is about 15 minutes' drive away. The guesthouse is a 75-minute drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, and 24 km from Perth and Stirling.

This is an impressive Victorian stone villa which offers bed and breakfast accommodation and a warm welcome. The guesthouse was built in 1867 and has a total of 3 guest rooms. An unusual feature is the large library where guests can browse through an enormous variety of books, including a comprehensive collection on Scottish history.
