The peaceful village Thierbach (at a few minutes drive) is very picturesque. You can do your shopping in the village of Niederau (10 km). In the nearby hotel you can use an indoor swimming pool with sauna (entrance fee). The little train of Wildschönau has been an attraction in the Hochtal. South from the Inntal. since the summer of 1996. It runs in summer and winter at 10 km/h and brings you to the most beautiful places in the typical Tyrolean landscape. You will also find the wood museum in Wildschönau. The museum was crowned Schatzhaus of Austria in 1998. The region is perfect in summer for lovely walks and cycling trips in the mountains.Whether you like ski. langlauf. sledging or snowboarding : anything is possible in winter in the Wildschönau.
