The hotel is an 18th century manor house and has changed very little in appearance. It is a large building of dark stone with gothic framework around window-sills and dark eaves.

The lobby / reception area is dominated by the huge fireplace and grand dark wood curved staircase at the rear. There is original marble flooring and the overall feeling is that the owners of the property have done an excellent job restoring the building to superior standards without compromising any of the historical elements of the property..

The Mount Falcon has 32 luxury bedrooms split between the older and newer parts of the mansion. Each bedroom has custom designed furniture, luxury ensuite bathroom and luxury toiletries. Your room will come equipped with a large flatscreen television, direct dial telephone, personal safe, real hairdryer, luxury bathrobe and slippers, complimentary mineral water and broadband internet access.

The Kitchen Restaurant, as its name suggests, is located where the original kitchen in the manor house used to be. Following the tradition of the world-renowned Mount Falcon Fishing & Country Estate, run by the legendary Connie Aldridge, founder of the Blue Book, diners will be offered a menu featuring the very best in quality, fresh, local organic produce.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor, easily accessed from the main hotel foyer. The total seating area can accommodate 72 diners, with tables nestled around the original nooks and crannies of the original restaurant and pantry.

Head Chef At Mount Falcon; Philippe Farineau. After many years of working in Ireland in some of the most prestigious Hotels e.g Hayfield Manor in Cork - also available on this site, where Philippe was awarded 2 Rosettes for the restaurant, he was also the overall winner of The Barry's Irish Afternoon Tea Award. The restaurant caters for small groups & private parties, whatever the occasion; the service team will ensure that every element of your dining experience will be memorable.
