The Parador is located in the center of Jarandilla de la Vera. The distance to Madrid is 232 kms.

The hotel has two floors, decorated in rustic style, surrounding a central patio, to which was later added a double arcade-gallery. Palm trees, ivy and cypresses adorn the patio with their harmonious mixture of greenery.

Location

The hotel was named after the emperor that lived in the old castle- palace that is the parador today. The building conserves its original walls and drawbridge. The two storey building centres around the splendid couryard adorned with old coats of arms. The front section of the patio has a cloister on one side and some large windows cut out of stone on the other.
