The lobby area is medium in size and welcoming. On the ground floor colonial features are represented and the lobby bar has a nice fountain.

The hotel is situated in the crater of las Canadas del Teide. It is a truly beautiful location and the landscape is unusual and almost primitive in its appearance. As the hotel is located virtually in the middle of the island, everything is within reasonable travelling distance. To the north is the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife founded by colonist who left a baroque influence La Laguna is a town of beautiful churches dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
