It is located right next to the bay and within a 10-minute walk from both the bus and train stations. Best of all it is perfectly set for a visit to its main sights such as the 1550 castle, built by the Republic of Genoa as defence against the attacks of North African pirates and the 17th century Basilica of St. Margaret of Antiochia.
