This second generation family-run guest house is located in Heimbach-Hasenfeld. Free parking spaces are provided directly in front of Pension Dabrunz. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, as well as a seating area and a TV. Some rooms have a balcony and all guests are welcome to use the garden. The Rammenalsperre Schwammenauel and the Rurstausee (second largest reservoir lake in Germany) are around 2 km from Pension Dabrunz, and can be reached in a 20-30 minute walk. Boat trips are available on the Rursee with a round trip from Schwammenauel to Rurberg. The Rurseebahn railway offers a one-hour tour through Heimbach and Hasenfeld. The accommodation is also placed after the third stage of the Wildnis-Trail (willderness trail), and guests can spend the night here and enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting off on the fourth and final stage. Heimbach is located about 45 km from Aachen, while Cologne and Bonn are each about 70 km away. However smaller towns such as Blankenheim or Bad Münstereifel, as well as the Hohes Venn-Eifel Nature Park in Belgium are all great day-trip destinations too, and are just 30-35 km from Pension Dabrunz.
