The bar disco and sitting-room are in a separate building, at one time used as the garrison prison.

This is undoubtedly one of the most privileged Portuguese Pousadas, as it is entirely located within a small manor house, built in the 18th century by King D.Dinis. From here you can enjoy the most superb view over the Minho river and valley.
