The hotel was built in 1991 but in a traditional style so that you are hardly aware from the exterior that this is a modern building at all. Part of the design is based on the traditional oast houses which are found scattered throughout the kent countryside.
The reception has bare brick walls giving it a slightly rustic appearance although still looking very smart. There is also a pleasant lounge area with a combination of large comfortable chairs and cane chairs.

The rooms are medium in size and very nicely decorated in pale yellow with attractive, floral curtains and bed covers.
Mallows restaurant is a lovely, bright, spacious room with modern furniture. It serves fine, international cuisine. The Oast Bar is pleasant and relaxing place to enjoy a light refreshment.
