Guests at Katsuraso Ryokan sleep on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in Japanese-style futon bedding, wearing a Yukata robe. In the winter a leg-warming heated table (Kotatsu) is provided. Rooms have an en suite toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. In addition to the orange-infused bath, the ryokan also has a rock bath and a “Four Seasons” bath with nature views. If there are no other guests using a bath, you can lock the door and use it privately. Japanese cuisine is served for breakfast and dinner at the dining area. Joraku-ji Temple is a 5-minute walk from the ryokan, and the Bessho Onsen hot-spring area is about a 15-minute walk away. Free pick-up from Bessho-Onsen Train Station is available.
