Castle Saalhof is a historic castle in Maishofen, 2 km from Lake Zell. Vaulted ceilings and unique wooden panellings create a unique atmosphere and guests can relax in the on-site spa area, which features several saunas including outdoor saunas, an infrared cabin, panoramic windows with mountain views, and a relaxation room with sun loungers. All rooms and apartments are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV and free WiFi. Apartments provide a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a dishwasher. They come with a bathroom with a hairdryer. A children’s playground is available in the garden. Sun loungers are provided on the sun terrace where guests can enjoy panoramic views of Hohe Tauern and Großglockner. Barbecue facilities can be used by guests. On the farm next door, children can feed the animals, including cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits and goats, collect eggs in the morning, and enjoy horse riding free of charge.
