Bangsaphan is a small provincial city in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Its provincial capital is a fishing port with a superb location, set beside beautiful curving bays and amongst steep mountain outcrops. It lies close to the Burmese border and is located 380 km south of Bangkok, or a 4.5-hour journey away. This beach resort lies just 100 metres from Maerampung Beach and some 4 km from the centre of town. It offers easy access by car, train or bus and nearby sights include Wat Thang Sai (4 km), Tha Lu Island (12 km) - which can be easily seen from the mainland - and Huahin (187 km). The local train station is just 5 km from the establishment.
