Urubamba is a beautiful valley endowed with an incredible scenic beauty and rich history that, due to its excellent location, is the ideal starting point for visits to Machu Picchu, which is only 1 1/2 hours away by train. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the town centre and there are shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. It is 15 km to Salinera de Maras, 17 km to Moray, 20 km to Ollantaytambo, 30 km to Chincheros and 40 km to Pisac. The hotel lies only 76 km from the city of Cuzco.

This spa and conference hotel is housed in a historic building constructed for religious purposes in the 17th century and comprises a total of 32 rooms. The charming boutique establishment, set in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, embodies the purest mix of colonial art. The hotel was carefully renovated in 2007 and retains all the original ascetic, monastic and magical features of an old monastery which, added to the comfort and modern technology it offers, makes guests feel part of the spiritual mysticism of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom and a TV lounge.
