The hotel is located just 5 minutes from Hammersmith and 3 minutes from Baron's Court. The historical building dates back from 1884 and used to be St Paul School. The beautiful bedrooms are elegantly decorated, each with individual character, some with fireplaces. The building has an interesting history first as St Paul School. It was also here that during World War II, much of the planning for the military side of the invasion of Europe was done, including D Day Landings by Eisenhower, Montgomery and Churchill. The hotel has provided a set for Melody, the movie about "puppy love".
