Its position at Tranebergs Plan means that it is a stone's throw from all of Alvik's major amenities including hair salon, Konsum supermarket, newsagents, dry cleaners, and chemist. More shops can be found opposite the underground station in Alviks Torg, a smaller self-contained shopping precinct which includes a McDonalds restaurant, Post Office and large ICA supermarket.
