A number of picturesque walking routes are available outside the door. Stow House is located in Wensleydale, within 9 miles of 2 different market towns. It is the former home of the Rural Dean of Wensleydale, whose photos and artwork are still on display around the charming building. Rooms have contemporary décor, and benefit from a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each has an en suite bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The spectacular Aysgarth Waterfalls, a series of cascades stretching for over half a mile along the River Ure, are only five minutes’ walk from Stow House.
