Thaba Pitsi Nature Reserve is a 500-hectare malaria-free wildlife estate, nestled in the shadows of the Waterberg Mountains near Bela-Bela. The reserve offers 2 camps. The accommodation is made up of safari bush tents and African-style chalets, situated at the lodge up on a hill in the heart of the nature reserve. The tents have a wooden viewing deck and are separated of about 100 metres from each other. Also located on the farm side is La Vallee De Blandine, a 5-bedroom house and garden bungalows, both with a fully equipped kitchen and access to a communal pool and hot tub. A variety of activities are available, including walking and mountain bike trails, petanque and tennis. For a surcharge, Thaba Pitsi can arrange game drives, horseback riding trails, quads trails, clay pigeon shooting and bow shooting. A fitness area and a pool table is available at the main lodge.
