This hotel is situated in the heart of Vigo, opposite the sea. It is approximately 1 km to the railway station, 2 km to the bus station, and some 3 km to Castrelos. In addition, the ferry which departs for the Cies Islands, located about 10 km away, departs from a point very near the hotel. Guests are also recommended excursions to Baiona (about 30 km) and Sanxenxo (about 50 km).

The palace-like construction dating back to the 19th century was renovated in 2006 and comprises a total of 69 rooms spread across five floors. It was once a meeting place for the bourgeoisie and the city's intellectual and political elite. Guests are welcomed in the foyer of the air-conditioned building with a 24-hour reception desk and lifts. Further facilities include a cafe, a bar, a restaurant, a TV lounge, conference facilities, room and laundry services, and parking for those arriving by car.
