Travellers can also visit Nydri, a nice resort village that is just a few minutes away, or practise outdoor activities in the immediate area, such as taking a tour to the nearby Nydri Waterfalls or cycling around Vlicho Bay to get to the Agia Kiriaki white church. Nydri is just 17 kilometres from Lefkada town, where the island is connected to the mainland through a road bridge.
