At the Macdonald Bear we take our food very seriously - so much so that our restaurant, featuring Modern British Cuisine, has been awarded Two AA Rosettes. 54 bedrooms and suites; award-winning restaurant and informal bar with open fires in winter; state-of-the-art conference centre with six superbly equipped meeting rooms; secluded courtyard; two traditional rooms ideal for a reception or private dinner. Our Chef has also created an exciting Calendar of Events including Live Cookery Demonstrations. The restaurant seats up to 80 people, and for special occasions there is a semi-private area. We also have several private rooms which can seat from 4 to 30 people. The restaurant is also available for private use. Woodstock is perfect for a stroll, with many fine boutiques, antique, interior design and furniture shops, and noteworthy art galleries.
