Campanile Rochefort Sur Mer

This hotel is situated in the surroundings of Rochefort, a city that has retained its cultural and architectural traditions as well as its natural and cultural riches. The city centre with its bars, nightclubs and sights of interest (La Corderie Royale, L'Hermione and the marine museum) and railway station is approx. 3 km from the hotel. Rochefort provided the setting for Jacques Demy's musical comedy Les Demoselles de Rochefort (with Catherine Deneuve and Gene Kelly) and affords all the charms of a listed country town. The sea is around 8 km away. The islands of Oleron, Aix and Re with their wonderful bays and horizons are less than 30 minutes by car away. Rochefort profits from the fresh ocean air, that blows in off the nearby Atlantic. La Rochelle airport is roughly 30 km from the hotel.
