Go Below Underground Adventures are a 5-minute drive away, and offer visitors the opportunity to traverse over an abyss, scale a waterfall or abseil down the deepest point in Snowdonia - all within abandoned mines. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is set high above Colwyn Bay and can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Many rare and endangered species can be seen at the zoo, which also features scenic gardens. Rooms at Dolgethin have views of either the River Llugwy or the garden and forest. A TV is also included.
