Situated within the picturesque Snowdonia National Park, Glanddwyryd is a Grade II-listed house with original Georgian features and scenic views across the Dwyryd valley. The property is located in the village of Maentwrog, nestled within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Each room at Glanddwyryd boasts valley views, a seating area and tea/coffee making facilities. A full Welsh breakfast is served each morning, along with vegetarian and continental options. Ingredients are locally sourced where possible and many are homemade. Guests can relax in the communal lounge, which offers a TV with selection of DVDs, a collection of books and information about the surrounding area. A village pub can be found close to the property. Pleasant walks can be taken in the nearby woods, which are designated as a National Nature Reserve and features a nature trail. The Antur Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails can be reached in a 12-minute drive.
