This hotel is located just 5 km from the centre of Florence and only 15 minutes' walk from the Ponte Vecchio, Gli Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria, Nelson Mandela Forum, Saschall Theatre and Palazzo Pitti. The A1 exit for Firenze Sud is very close by and Santa Maria Novella train station and Piazza del Duomo are both 30 minutes away on foot. Florence-Peretola airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel and Pisa-Galileo Galilei airport is around 113 km away.

The family-friendly city hotel was built in a historical building that overlooks the left banks of the Arno River. The air-conditioned hotel has a small but elegant lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access to the upper floors. It is managed by the Papini-Sassi family that founded it and it is wheelchair-accessible. There is also a bar, cafe and breakfast room as well as room service, car parking and a babysitting service.
