The hotel is situated at the foot of the Sierra de la Giganta, beside the sparkling Lake Cortes, a magical place and an oasis of colours, where the purple of the mountains contrasts with the luminous blue of the lake and sky. The old fishing village of Loreto is close by, in Baja California Sur. It is 10 km to the airport and 20 km to the centre of Loreto. The city of La Paz lies around 365 km to the north.
