Le Fontanelle territory has a long history dated back to the 13th century. This area, first inhabited by Etruscan was successively occupied by the Romans and then, in the Early middle Ages, by the Longobard population. After a complete renovation started in 1999 and finished in 2006, the Fontanelle territory is now a luxury hotel that has maintained its original flavour. Stone and brick are the essential materials of the building. Fantastic botanic gardens with flowers, herbs and spices, vineyards and olive threes are the perfect frame of this special place.

Rooms are all different as spaces have been recuperated by a very careful restoration that has maintained the original past heritage of this building. Style is very elegant and sober at the same time, respecting the country but sophisticated atmosphere of the property. Terra-cotta floor and wooden bin sealing are the main elements characterising the architecture of the rooms, combined with very precious fabrics. Rooms are located in different buildings all connected to the main one thanks to underground corridors built on purpose.
